Exciting Start to the School Year: Enrollment Surges and Community Support Shines!
The new school year has kicked off with a bang, as our school proudly reports an enrollment of 30 students above projections. This surge in student numbers marks an exhilarating start to the academic year, with an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm and dedication.
From the very first day, students have demonstrated remarkable focus and commitment. Classroom participation is at an all-time high, and the engagement in extracurricular activities has been impressive. Attendance rates have also been exceptional, with over 90% of students present during the first two weeks. Maintaining this strong attendance will be crucial as we continue to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Our schools are set to implement a new K-12 math curriculum. This updated program promises to enhance our students' mathematical skills and align with contemporary educational standards, ensuring a robust and comprehensive math education for all grades. We will have a focus on problem-solving and teaching students to think through the work.
Community involvement has been a cornerstone of our schools' success. We were thrilled to welcome over 45 community members to campus on the first day, reinforcing our cherished tradition of strong local support. Their presence highlights the collaborative spirit that enriches our educational environment.
Our commitment to professional development is evident as well. Over 20 staff members recently attended the CTGR conference, gaining valuable insights into how to best support our Native students. The conference focused on indigenizing classrooms and creating meaningful opportunities that honor and integrate indigenous cultures into our educational practices.
As we move forward, we remain grateful for the incredible start to this school year. The dedication of our students, the engagement of our community, and the ongoing professional growth of our staff set a promising tone for the months ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this great start. Here’s to a successful and rewarding year ahead!
As Always, Proud to be a Bulldog!
