Celebrating Our Leadership and Community Engagement!
What an exciting homecoming week we had! A huge shout out to our leadership students for their outstanding efforts during Spirit Week, culminating in a vibrant assembly and a lively noise parade downtown. Community enthusiasm truly made this event unforgettable!
We’re also thrilled to announce a generous sponsorship from West Salem Machine for our advanced CTE students. Thanks to their support, all 32 students will have the opportunity to complete OSHA 10 training as part of the grant. WSM is a fantastic industry partner, and we are grateful for their commitment to our students’ future success.
Winter sports season is just around the corner as we transition into November! Involvement in extra curricular opportunities is always great motivator for students who struggle to keep their grades and attendance up. Our website is always a go-to for event places and times.
Stay tuned for upcoming school communications regarding Halloween costumes and celebrations.
In the spirit of giving back, our middle school will be leading a canned food drive as we head into the holiday season. Let’s show our community support and generosity!
A big thank you to the over a dozen students who volunteered for the Kiwanis Highway cleanup. Your hard work in giving back to the community is truly commendable!
We also had the pleasure of hosting a visit from our new Mayor, Vickie Hernandez, and Willamina town staff. It was a great opportunity to strengthen our community ties and discuss future collaborations.
Our Bulldog Bash saw record community attendance! Thank you to all our community partners who came to share with our families!
If you missed our fall Farmers’ Market you need to join us next year! Students were able to use market money and purchase locally grown products and meet growers from the region. They all had a great experience as shoppers. The day ended with the market open to the public. Thank you to all the vendors and Lynne Shore our incredible Nutrition Specialist!
Let’s keep the momentum going as we continue to support our students and community! Keep sending students to school and help us maintain our improved attendance! We can’t teach them if they are not present bell to bell!
Building Bulldogs with pride,
Mike Gass
