A Season of Thankfulness

As we approach this season of thankfulness, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the hardworking staff of Willamina School District, whose dedication continues to make a difference every day. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our supportive community for its ongoing involvement and encouragement. Our time away from school will give everyone the opportunity to recharge, reflect on the fall season, and offer grace to those in need.

We recognize that breaks from the school routine can sometimes be challenging, especially when students might not have the same level of support. However, this time away can also be a chance for students to engage in activities like reading for fun, playing games with family and friends, or practicing a musical instrument—simple ways to continue learning and growing.

We are excited to share that our students will participate in the tree lighting ceremony at the end of the Light Parade on December 7th. Please come out and support our talented band students as they perform at the firehouse!

As our seniors begin to plan for their futures, many are applying to colleges military, and technical schools in the region. We are proud of their hard work and the exciting steps they are taking toward their post-secondary options.

A special thank you goes to Caryn Stockwell, our outgoing board president, who recently resigned to move across the country. Her service was instrumental to the success of our district over the past few years. We are grateful for her leadership and dedication.

Lastly, if you are interested in applying for the Board opening, more information can be found on our website, Willamina.k12.or.us. The appointment for this position will be made in January or February.

Thank you for your continued support, and we wish everyone a restful and reflective break!

Proud to be the lead bulldog!
