Upcoming Legislative Session and School News

As we approach the winter break, it's important to look ahead to the start of the new legislative session, where school finance will be a key topic of discussion. With education funding being a major focus, it will be crucial for our community to stay informed about any potential changes that could affect our schools.

In other exciting news, the School Board will be filling an open position until the next election in the spring. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in contributing to the direction of our district and making a difference in our students' education. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved in shaping school policies, now is the perfect time to consider running for this important role.

Our students have been busy spreading holiday cheer with a variety of festive projects. From the high school leadership students organizing fun events to the elementary school’s canned food drive, everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. These efforts not only teach students about kindness and giving, but also bring our community together during this special time of year.

Winter sports have also kicked off, and the excitement is building. With hopes high at the start of the season, we’re looking forward to seeing our athletes shine on the court and on the mat.

A special shoutout goes to our Middle School/High School Band, who did an outstanding job representing our schools at the recent firehouse tree lighting and parade. Their performance was a highlight of the event and showed off the amazing talent of our students.

As we head into winter break, let's celebrate the hard work of our students, staff, and community members. We look forward to an exciting start to the new year!
