No School on January 25th, 2022

Students and Families of Willamina School District,

Tuesday January 25, 2022 will be a "no student" workday for teachers. This day will be dedicated to planning lessons and preparing materials for students in quarantine and a possible short-term closure. Students will return to the classroom January 26, 2022.

We have no plans for closing in-person instructions for students at this time. We have been fortunate that the impact of the Omicron variant has not had a severe impact on student or staff attendance. Our students and staff take their health and safety seriously, following the Covid mitigation steps required by the CDC and Oregon Health Authority; wearing face coverings, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and increasing sanitation efforts.

We appreciate the efforts of our community as well, encouraging your child to follow these precautions allows us to keep kids in school!

Thank you for your continued support during these stressful times, we all look forward to the day when Covid is no longer the topic of every conversation.
